This is what was implied by the Prime Minister Rose Christiane Ossouka Raponda who received the South Korean Vice-Minister of the Economy on Tuesday 11 October.

«Warm meeting this Tuesday, October 11 with the Korean Vice-Minister of Economy, Mr. Seong Deok Yun,» wrote the head of the Gabonese government on his Facebook page.

This meeting comes as Gabon and South Korea celebrate this year the 60th anniversary of their diplomatic relations.

«In accordance with the directives of the President of the Republic Ali Bongo Ondimba, we intend to strengthen our relations both economically and diplomatically with this friendly country,» added the Gabonese Prime Minister.

In a diplomatically subtle formula, she also indicated that Gabon « considers with goodwill South Korea’s bid for the 2030 World Expo.
