President Ali Bongo Ondimba on Sunday, 18 Sept., signed the book of condolences for the Queen at Lancaster House in London near Buckingham Palace.
On Monday morning (today), he will attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Abbey accompanied by his wife Sylvia Bongo Ondimba.
The Gabonese president is a close friend to the new King Charles III, with whom he shares the same deep interest for environemental and climate issues, as well as biodiversity.
After attending events in London, Ali Bongo Ondimba will head to New York for the UN general assembly.
